A fire at several sites in the Ibar gorge between Ušće and Maglič is in its second day. N1 reports that it has reached conifer forest and that inaccessible terrain is hindering firefighting; Danas relays an initial estimate of about 80 hectares of pine forest plus 70 hectares of dry grass and low vegetation, with an Interior Ministry helicopter deployed.

021 reports that Faculty of Dramatic Arts professor Stevan Filipović was beaten in central Belgrade on the evening of 5 August. In a video he published, he says he had filmed the demolition of a protected building at Makedonska and Nušićeva streets before the attack; the account of the circumstances and alleged assailants is his version of events.

The National Employment Service has published a vacancy for the director of Novi Sad's Jovan Jovanović Zmaj Gymnasium. Parents say the document list omits an equality commissioner's certificate that no discriminatory conduct has been established against the candidate, and therefore expect the vacancy to be annulled. This is their legal assessment, not a decision already taken.

N1 relays a Nova ekonomija report saying that none of the 30 CAF trams is currently in service, leaving GSP to rely on older vehicles without air conditioning. A union representative estimates that, among 113 trams entering service, at most 15 new Bozankaya vehicles are air-conditioned, provided they run all day without breakdowns. GSP had not responded by publication.

BVK says consumers at listed addresses in 11 Belgrade municipalities were without water until 15:00 on 6 August, from Stari Grad and Vračar to Grocka and Barajevo. The utility also sent tankers to Kovilovo, Ritopek, Mali Mokri Lug, Radiofar, Barajevo, Veliki Borak, Pinosava and Republic Square.

Kurir, citing Elektrodistribucija Beograd, published the 6 August planned-outage schedule for parts of Vračar, Voždovac, Rakovica, Novi Beograd and Zemun. The windows began at 08:30 and ended no later than 15:00; Rakovica had the longest address list.
