1. Vojvodina bans water withdrawal from the Danube–Tisa–Danube system

The provincial emergency headquarters has banned users from drawing water from the Danube–Tisa–Danube system in the South Bačka, North Bačka and West Bačka districts. N1 says the level at the Bezdan 2 pumping station reached −164 cm on 3 August and RHMZ expects a further fall; 021 also reports that four vessels ran aground near Bogojevo and Bezdan, with crews safe.

3. Surčin interchange ramps and a lane close from 5 to 10 August

Works will run at the Surčin interchange from 5 August at 12:00 until 10 August at 09:00. In a Putevi Srbije notice relayed by Danas, the exit from the Niš/Čačak direction toward Surčin, the entry from Surčin toward Novi Sad/Belgrade, and the right lane of the Dobanovci–Surčin road will close; traffic will use the left lane under signal control.

4. ‘Studentska lista’ is registered as an association until May 2028

Students in the blockade movement said their ‘Studentska lista’ association has been entered in the Business Registers Agency. Danas and 021 report that it was registered on 21 May and an amended APR decision sets its term through 1 May 2028; its stated aims include election observation and protection of voting rights.

5. Novi Sad vigil honours eight femicide victims

At Freedom Square in Novi Sad, the Women for Change activist group held eight minutes of silence for eight women killed in Serbia since the start of the year. The action followed three femicides in the previous ten days; participants called for more effective protection of women and highlighted the circulation of footage of a killing near Bor on social media.
