Families’ lawyer in the Panda case seeks oversight of prosecutors’ work on the 1998 crime

Lawyer Ivan Ninić asked Serbia’s Supreme Public Prosecutor to oversee the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s work on the killing of six young people at the Panda café in Peć on December 14, 1998. According to Ninić’s submission reported by Danas, the case has remained in investigative and evidentiary procedures for years; no new prosecutorial decision has been announced.

Human remains found in Zubin Potok municipality; Kosovo prosecutors confirm exhumation

Human remains were found in the village of Mala Kaludra in Zubin Potok municipality. A Kosovo Institute of Forensic Medicine representative said the initial assessment considers them of forensic interest; further conclusions require expert examination.

Serbia did not align with four new EU restrictive decisions

The EU said Serbia aligned with two new foreign-policy decisions on Lebanon and Sudan, but not with four restrictive-measures decisions linked to Russia, cyberattacks and serious human-rights abuses. N1 reports that the other Western Balkan candidates aligned with all four decisions.

Vučić expects the Russian-stake sale in NIS to finish by end-September

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said he hopes to complete the transaction to buy the Russian stake in NIS by the end of September.
