‘Studentska lista’ is registered as an association until May 2028

Students in the blockade movement said their ‘Studentska lista’ association has been entered in the Business Registers Agency. Danas and 021 report that it was registered on 21 May and an amended APR decision sets its term through 1 May 2028; its stated aims include election observation and protection of voting rights.

Novi Sad vigil honours eight femicide victims

At Freedom Square in Novi Sad, the Women for Change activist group held eight minutes of silence for eight women killed in Serbia since the start of the year. The action followed three femicides in the previous ten days; participants called for more effective protection of women and highlighted the circulation of footage of a killing near Bor on social media.

Vračar’s Kneginje Julije Street will lose water on 5 August

BVK plans water-network works in Vračar on 5 August from 08:30 to 18:00. Consumers in Kneginje Julije Street will be without water; a water tanker is promised for essential needs. The utility asks residents to prepare drinking and basic-use water in advance.

Distribution of 30,000 tourism vouchers for pensioners has opened

Applications opened at Post of Serbia counters on 3 August for 30,000 domestic-holiday vouchers worth RSD 10,000 each. The programme is for pensioners with pensions up to RSD 80,000; a voucher covers accommodation only, for at least five nights, and must be used by 1 November.

Students in blockade announce five days of outreach in Belgrade and Vladimirci

From 3 to 7 August, the Students in Blockade movement plans conversations with residents in Zemun, Vračar, Palilula and Vladimirci. Door-to-door outreach in Vračar is announced daily from 17:00 to 20:00, while a Palilula stand is due in Ruzveltova Street on 3 August from 18:00 to 21:00.

At the borders: passenger vehicles wait up to 50 minutes

At 08:38 on 3 August, AMSS reported no longer border delays: passenger vehicles waited up to 50 minutes leaving via Preševo and Gostun, 30 minutes via Gradina, and 25 minutes via Strezimirovci. The morning queues reported by Border Police change during the day, so check current information before travelling.
