On Tuesday, July 14, planned electricity outages are scheduled in parts of Veternik, Sremska Kamenica, and Sremski Karlovci. According to 021, the Veternik interruption runs from 08:00 to 13:30; the area from the cemetery toward Paragovo, the church and the Cer sawmill, as well as Cardak, Popovica, and Mosina vila, from 08:30 to 13:30; and Ceratska Street in Sremski Karlovci from 08:30 to 09:30.
N1 and Danas report that from 15:00 on July 3 until 15:00 on July 10, a liter of eurodiesel in Serbia will cost up to 219 dinars and a liter of Europremium BMB petrol 195 dinars. N1, citing RTS, adds that both prices are 2 dinars higher.
After the morning NIS extension, two practical follow-ups appeared: JANAF received an OFAC license to fulfill contractual obligations and deliver oil to NIS until July 31, and MOL received a license to continue talks with Gazprom/Gazprom Neft on buying the majority Russian stake. This preserves the Pancevo refinery's operation and fuel supply, but the ownership deal still has no public outcome.
Danas writes that both key OFAC licenses for NIS expire on July 1: the operating license for crude imports via JANAF and the license for Gazprom Neft-MOL talks on the Russian stake. N1 later added Hungarian context: HVG notes that the European arrest warrant for MOL chief Zsolt Hernadi remains valid, although a Budapest court refused in March to recognize the Croatian judgments; in parallel, Hungary is expanding its excess-profit tax on MOL.
Danas reports that from 15:00 on June 26 until 15:00 on July 3, a liter of eurodiesel in Serbia costs up to 217 dinars and a liter of Europremium BMB petrol 193 dinars. Diesel is unchanged from last week, while petrol is 2 dinars higher.
According to Bankwatch data carried by 021, coal-fired power plants in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, and North Macedonia emitted 6.6 times more pollution than permitted in 2025. Serbia ranked second for SO2: 177,756 tonnes, or 5.1 times the allowed amount. The report also says regional dust pollution was 2.9 times above the limit and identifies TENT B as Serbia's largest NOx source at 11,247 tonnes; since January 2026, the CBAM mechanism has increased the cost of electricity exports to the EU.
