In elections for the student parliament of Novi Sad’s Faculty of Sciences, the blockade-backed “Nije prirodno ćutati” list won every mandate. N1 reports that 304 of 357 voters supported it.
Serbia’s government will fund 6,612 first-year places in professional and academic master’s programmes and 972 doctoral places in the 2026/27 academic year. The master’s total includes 73 places each for people with disabilities and members of the Roma community through affirmative measures.
Belgrade mayor Aleksandar Šapić said all parents will receive the city's RSD 20,000 school aid by the end of September. He said everyone should have received a total of RSD 10,000 by September 1, with the remainder paid during September.

Foreign Minister Marko Djuric signed the Artemis Accords at NASA headquarters in Washington. Serbia became the 69th participant; the accords set principles for peaceful and responsible space exploration.
After the first admissions round, all state-funded and self-funded places are filled at 16 University of Belgrade faculties, while 15 others still have places for later rounds. The largest gaps are at the Faculty of Philology, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Mining and Geology, and Faculty of Geography; 771 candidates filed documents for 1,393 planned places at Philology, and 257 competed for 790 places at Agriculture.
