Night works close the passing lane from Belgrade to Zmaj toward Novi Sad until July 4

021 writes that horizontal road-marking works are being carried out on the state-road section from the Belgrade interchange to the Zmaj interchange toward Novi Sad until July 4, from 23:00 to 05:00. During the works the passing lane is closed and traffic uses the driving lane; Putevi Srbije says the zone will be secured with appropriate signage and equipment.

Novi Sad opened a short application window for RSD 15,000 bicycle subsidies

Kurir writes that the City of Novi Sad is allocating RSD 22.5 million for the Biciklom za zeleni Novi Sad 2026 program. Adult Novi Sad residents can apply from July 1 at 12:00 to July 3 at 12:00 via zeleninovisad.com; support per person is RSD 15,000. According to the city, nearly 8,000 new bicycles have been bought through the measure since it started in 2021, and Novi Sad's bicycle-path network is about 157.5 km long.

021.rs reports that on Friday, July 3, reconstruction of secondary heating-pipeline branches will leave part of Novo naselje without hot water from 08:00. The outage covers Dusana Danilovica, Bulevar kneza Milosa 12-18, and Bulevar Jovana Ducica 14-34; supply is expected to normalize the same afternoon.

Novi Sad published the July bulky-waste pickup schedule

021.rs reports that JKP Gradska cistoca is continuing organized bulky-waste collection in July across Novi Sad local communities and surrounding settlements. Containers are placed at different locations for two days at a time; the campaign runs until mid-August. The nearest dates list Kamenjar for July 2-3 and MZ Adice for July 4-5.

Dunavski park lake drained for cleaning; fish did not survive the works

021 and N1 report that JKP Gradsko zelenilo drained the lake in Novi Sad's Dunavski park for regular cleaning. Turtles were handed over to the Institute for Nature Conservation, but fish that Gradsko zelenilo says residents had brought into the lake were not relocated and died; water is expected back in a few days after mud and waste are removed.

Residents left the commission session on the "Novi Sad na vodi" project

021 reports that on June 30, at a public session in the City Assembly, Novi Sad citizens' assemblies filed a request to recuse the entire Planning Commission, especially its president Radoje Dabetic, over suspected conflict of interest around the "Novi Sad na vodi" project. The commission replied that the City Assembly must decide on recusal, after which the public hearing continued, and by the end, according to 021, all residents had left the session.
