Novi Sad-Gas is set to merge into Srbijagas, transferring 94 employees

A draft agreement proposes merging the state-owned Novi Sad-Gas into Srbijagas, transferring all assets and liabilities as well as 94 workers. It cites uninterrupted, stable natural-gas supply as the goal; this is a draft, not notice of a completed merger.

Water at Novi Sad's Štrand is fourth-class; swimmers are advised to shower afterward

Low Danube levels and high temperatures have placed water across most of Štrand beach in the fourth quality class, according to beach operator Gradsko zelenilo. Swimming is not banned: microbiological parameters remain within permitted limits, but visitors are advised to shower after leaving the water.
