Beograd.rs has published the transport scheme for the Petrovdanski fair in Obrenovac on July 10-12, 2026. Because parts of Milosa Obrenovica, Save Popovica Gembasa, Majora Tepavca, and Vasariste streets will close, lines 901, 911, 911A, 912A1, 860Z, 912, and 912A are being rerouted, while existing stops will continue to be used on the diversion routes.
N1 and Danas report that on the evening of July 5, the Zemun and New Belgrade citizens' assemblies protested at Usce against the aquarium project: they blocked the roundabout by the shopping center and then marched along Bulevar Nikole Tesle toward Hotel Jugoslavija under police escort. Activists say they have already filed an appeal against the preparatory-works permit issued by the Secretariat for Urbanism and are preparing a lawsuit against that decision.
BVK and Danas report that because of Elektromreza Srbije works on Tuesday, July 7, Rakovica, Senjak, and several parts of Cukarica will be without water from 06:00 to 14:00, while Barajevo, Ripanj, and Tresnja will be without water from 06:00 to 18:00. Upper floors in Novi Beograd, Zemun, Surcin, Vidikovac, and Cerak are expected to see reduced pressure and interruptions; BVK says water tankers will be provided and asks residents to prepare supplies in advance.
Belgrade's city portal splits the July 5 faults into two deadlines: until 15:00, it lists addresses in Palilula, Zvezdara, Vozdovac, Zemun, Barajevo, and Surcin, while until 22:00 it lists additional addresses in Palilula, Zvezdara, Vozdovac, Cukarica, Rakovica, Zemun, Barajevo, and Surcin. On the evening of July 4, a protest was held outside the Rakovica police station over what participants say was the police response to the late-April attack on activist Vojislav Zdravkovski in Resnik. N1 reports that signature collection for the removal of station chief Milan Pekovic began after the main part of the rally, while Danas says about 250 people attended and that Gordana Djokic was taken into the station after chanting during the protest.
N1 and 021 report that the Portuguese collective Teatro Praga has withdrawn from the 59th BITEF and pulled its production Audição from the program. The artists cite censorship, pressure on cultural workers, and interference by the authorities and public institutions in culture; 021 adds that selector Spasoje Ž. Milovanović says festival preparations are continuing as planned.
