Danas reports that the government has again extended the decision temporarily reducing excise duties on petroleum products, this time through June 21. Until then the excise is 61.24 dinars per liter for leaded gasoline, 57.6 dinars for unleaded gasoline, and 59.23 dinars for gas oils; the outlet notes this is about 20% lower. The original temporary-reduction decision was adopted on May 14 because producer prices for petroleum products had risen after crude oil became more expensive on the global market.
