Novi Sad June 23 traffic: autoput crash, Zrenjanin-road interceptor, and radars

021 updated its traffic-service overview for Tuesday, June 23 through 14:38: the headline now highlights a crash on the Novi Sad - Belgrade autoput near the start of roadworks and a Škoda interceptor with Belgrade plates on the Novi Sad - Zrenjanin road. The feed also lists a radar on Bulevar Evrope toward Telep, a crash on Novosadskog sajma Street, a Telep patrol, earlier radars, and heating-pipeline works on Alekse Šantića Street, where numbers 64-74 and part of the far-right lane of Bulevar cara Lazara are closed until July 27.

Beoinfo and GSP warn that from June 23 to 29, because of works on Patrijarha Joanikija Street in Rakovica, public transport will use changed routes. Routes 23, 53, 89, ADA1, 56N, and E2 will run via Vidikovacki venac, the route 504 alignment, and Kneza Viseslava, while 59 and 534 will use Vidikovacki venac, route 504, and Pilota Mihaila Petrovica; existing stops are used on the changed section.

Boy seriously injured in overnight Belgrade crash as N1 updates tram account

On the morning of June 22, Danas and Novosti, citing emergency services, reported that a boy on a bicycle was seriously injured at the corner of Bulevar kralja Aleksandra and Ulica Svetozara Markovića; N1 later added a note to its initial agency item saying GSP told other media the crash was caused by a car, not a tram. All three sources also report an overnight fight in Novi Beograd in which two young men were seriously injured.

Novi Sad summer bus timetable starts June 22 as line 52 changes route

021 reports that from Monday, June 22, JGSP Novi Sad moved to its summer timetable with departure-time corrections because fewer passengers are expected during holidays and the school break. The same day, line 52 between Veternik and the railway station received a permanent new route, while 021's updated traffic overview tracks a radar checkpoint on Trandžament, a closure in part of Novo naselje, works in Veternik, Ledinci, and on the Novi Sad istok - Kovilj sections, plus a truck crash on the Novi Sad - Belgrade motorway near Batajnica.

Vucic demands more punctual trains after visiting the new rail dispatch center

On June 21, Aleksandar Vucic visited the new Unified Dispatch Center in Belgrade and demanded that trains in Serbia become more punctual than German and Swiss trains, with Transport Minister Aleksandra Sofronijevic replacing directors if delays become routine. According to N1 and Danas, the center's 23 staff now monitor and control 540 km of railway, the Belgrade-Subotica line should enter the system in six to seven months, and an urgent working group is promised for the 210 km Valjevo-Vrbnica section and the line from Kosjeric to the Montenegrin border.

021 reports that traffic in part of Novo naselje is changed for the Korzo concert from 06:00 on June 20 until 12:00 on June 22. Ulica Bate Brkica is closed between Ulica Seljackih buna and Ulica Dusana Danilovica, and GSP is rerouting line 8; the city administration asks residents to follow temporary signage.
