N1/Beta reports the Traffic Police Directorate's notice: the June 15-21 operation targets drivers under the influence of alcohol and psychoactive substances and is being run with members of the European ROADPOL network. On June 19, Europe-wide Alcohol and Drugs Marathon checks will run for 24 hours using available breathalyzers and drug-testing devices. According to MUP, in the first five months of the year more than 22,000 drivers were removed from traffic for alcohol, more than 3,000 were detained for levels above 1.20 per mille, and around 1,100 drivers were removed for psychoactive substances, 50% more than a year earlier.

021 included the MUP notice in its June 15 Novi Sad traffic service feed: from June 15 to 21, traffic police are increasing checks mainly for drunk or drug-impaired driving. The same feed records local disruptions: a broken traffic light near Futoska market at 9:45 and 10:45, congestion in Preradoviceva in Petrovaradin, a crash on Zrenjaninski put, and a temporary traffic regime on the Sremska Kamenica-Irig section on June 15 and 16 from 7:00 to 21:00 because of film shooting.
